We use a high-quality ¾” thick melamine, which is durable, easy to clean, and perfect for custom storage solutions. Most of our materials are manufactured right here in North Carolina and are designed with a finish that won't peel, chip, or fade. That's why we back it with our lifetime warranty.
-
We don't recommend it. Our melamine's smooth surface doesn't accept paint well, and painting would void your lifetime warranty. We offer a variety of colors and finishes- just let us know your preference during design!

Yes, if you're planning to paint, we recommend doing it before installation. It's much easier without the new system in place. Most of our designs do not include backs - so the drywall is visible behind. This is a great time to give the space a fresh coat of paint - or maybe even spice it up with some character! If you need a painter, just let us know!
-
If new flooring is part of your renovation plans, ideally updating it before is best. Your designer can talk you through design options that simplify future flooring changes too!
-
We prefer that someone is home during installation, but if that's not possible, we can work with you to make arrangements.
-
The holes give the designs the flexibility to adapt to your usage of the space over time. Although we don’t “get rid of them,” there are ways to minimize their visibility. Ask your designer for more information during your initial consultation!
