Aaron Alexander has proudly led Carolina Custom Closets since 2022, bringing a fresh perspective and a relentless commitment to customer satisfaction. With a background in engineering from Northwestern University, Aaron combines precision and problem-solving with a genuine passion for helping people create spaces they love.
For Aaron, this business isn’t just about building closets—it’s about building trust. He believes every client deserves personalized designs, quality craftsmanship, and a team that truly cares, and he works hard to make that a reality every day.
Life’s adventures brought Aaron to coastal North Carolina, where he fell in love with both the community and the opportunity to make a difference through this family-owned business. His goal is simple: deliver beautiful, functional storage solutions while doing the right thing for his clients, his employees, and his community.
When he’s not creating dream closets, Aaron is usually outdoors—camping, hiking, boating, or chasing his favorite thrill: off-road driving. In fact, he’s a professional off-road driver who occasionally appears in commercials for major automakers. His adventurous spirit and strong work ethic shine through in everything he does—whether on the trail or in your home.

Kathy is passionate about organization and design, always looking for ways to maximize storage while maintaining a clean, elevated look. She loves presenting unique solutions that reflect each client’s lifestyle, ensuring every project feels thoughtful and polished.
Tim uses his installation expertise to make sure those designs come to life flawlessly. From taking precise measurements to handling the details of the build, Tim ensures the finished space functions as beautifully as it looks.
Whether it’s brainstorming the perfect layout or installing the final touches, this design duo works hand-in-hand to deliver a seamless experience—and results that clients love.

With 12 years of experience in custom closet design, Cathy specializes in creating functional and stylish spaces tailored to each client's needs. From luxury wardrobes to efficient storage solutions, Cathy blends creativity with practicality to deliver designs that enhance both form and function. Originally from the Midwest, Cathy has lived in the Wilmington area for 25 years and raised her family here. She enjoys playing tennis & golf and just recently learned how to fly fish!
